It's five alive for modern artists

SOME of the best recent work by artists from all over Britain is on show in Birmingham from tomorrow.

150 works can be seen at three venues - B16, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Ikon Gallery - as the British Art Show 5 ends its nationwide tour.

The Art Show, which takes place every five years, aims to give you the chance to review the current state of art in Britain. It includes people who have made a significant impact to the art world, plus three Turner Prize 2000 nominees: Glenn Brown, Michael Raedecker and Wolfgang Tillmans.
