University of Illinois

The following area students' names appear on the newest Bronze Tablet recently placed in the University of Illinois Library in Champaign.

They are University Honors students, the top 3 percent from each college's 1998 graduating class, selected for outstanding academic performance during undergraduate study.

Taj A. Khan of Lisle; Eric Rudolph Potter and Amy Katherine Potter of Naperville.

Sean Broihier of Naperville was among a group of students honored with Dads' Association Library Awards at the University of Illinois at Champaign.

Chosen from students completing their sophomore year, the award winners were among the top three students in their respective colleges or had maintained a perfect grade-point average.

A book will be purchased in each student's name for the University of Illinois library.

Illinois State University

The following area students recently received bachelor of science degrees from Illinois State University in Normal.

Amy Ann Supernaw and Patrick Alan Sweeney of Lisle; George Samual Ciran, Beth Ann Copack, Jody Ann Engelke, Michael Thomas Ferguson, Kim Ann Janssen, Christopher Raymond Richard, Tyler James Turnquist and Jill Christine Wegerer of Naperville.

Lisa Kay Toledo of Naperville received a bachelor of arts degree and graduated magna cum laude.

Boston University

David Lawrence, son of Donald and Barbara Lawrence of Naperville, is one of 13 students who recently received an Ablon/Bay Fellowship from Boston University's Marine Program. …
