Margaret M. Long

Mass for Margaret M. Long, 81, of Libertyville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple St., Libertyville.

Ms. Long was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Chicago. She died Sept. 13 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Barbara, David (Joann), John (Sheila), and Raymond (Cynthia) Brown, and Joseph (Donna), Frank (Kathy), Michael (Denice) Connell and Peggy (Stuart) Cohn.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Connell and Ann Brown, and her brother, John Long.

She was the great-great aunt of many.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Patricia J. Pedersen

Prayers for Patricia J. Pedersen (nee O'Brien) will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton St., Palatine.

Mrs. Pedersen, 68, of Palatine, died Thursday, Sept. 12, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1928, in Chicago and was formerly a teacher at St. Colette School in Rolling Meadows. Additionally, Mrs. Pedersen assisted in her husband's business in Palatine, the Pedersen Insurance Agency.

She grew up in the Beverly area of Chicago and attended St. Barnabus Elementary School, the Academy of Our Lady High School and graduated from Grinnel College in Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard E., (state representative from the 54th District); her sons, Edwin B. (Susan), and Andrew (Ann); her daughter, Christina M. Tinning; her brother, Donald O'Brien of Chicago; and her grandchildren, John, Kathleen, Bridgid, Patrick, Meghan, Mary, Kate and Brendan Tinning and Bernard II, Josephine and Brendan Pedersen.

She was preceeded in death by her brothers, John and James, and also her sister, Mary A. Edman. She also was preceeded in death by her parents, Vincent and Marion O'Brien.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Albert Pieroni

Services for Albert Pieroni, 82 of Mundelein will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Kristan Funeral Home in Libertyville.

Mr. Pieroni was born Nov. 10, 1913, in Tri-Mountain, Mich.

Interment will be in the Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. He died Thursday, Sept. 12, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Survivors include his wife, Felicia (nee Finocchio); his children, Joseph (Jean) Pieroni of Mundelein and Marianna Grinzafi of Mundelein; his brothers, Raymond Pieroni of Florida and Frank (Pearl) Pieroni of Oak Brook; his sisters, Nelli Palmero of Chicago, Jean (John) Manzella of Mesa, Ariz., and Jane Parenti of Lake Villa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Kristan Funeral Home, p.c., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein.
