Kansas City-Based Investor Buys Addison Distribution Center

Kessinger/Hunter and Co., a Kansas City, Mo.-based real estate investment and development firm, has bought the 142,800-square-foot distribution center at 333 S. Swift Road in Addison, formerly owned by Kehe Enterprises Inc.

Kehe Enterprises, a Midwest food distributor, occupied the 10-acre property since its 1982 development. Kehe relocated its local operations and headquarters to Romeoville earlier this year. Kessinger/Hunter is converting the property into a two-tenant site.

Shopping center sold

County Line Square, a 90,171-square-foot shopping center at County Line Road and Burr Ridge Parkway in Burr Ridge, has been sold to BRC Ltd. of Florida, a limited partnership. The regional office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Oakbrook Terrace was the seller.

The center is 84 percent leased. Anchor store at the 7-year-old center is Cee Bee Foods, part of a grocery store chain.
