Council for Women's Health Plans Presentation Next Week

If your schedule did not allow you to get to the Women's Health presentation on Jan. 11, you have another opportunity to participate in another forum by Dr. Gregorio Delgado. The Loyola Council for Women's Health invites area residents and their spouses to this informative and enlightening evening beginning at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with light refreshments; the presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The women's health issues discussed at this event include hormone replacement, developments in breast cancer detection and treatment, and cervical cancer and the many advances currently being made in the area.

The Loyola Council for Women's Health was formed in early 1995 and is composed of many women for the DuPage area and members of the Loyola University staff. This group is dedicated to informing the organization members and the general public of changes and treatment options available for women and the unique health issues of women in all phases of their lives.

The council meets on a monthly basis, with the main focus on coordinating efforts to successfully reach out to area residents. The council stresses that its members and the staff members of Loyola are available to make presentations for groups or organizations about women's health. …
