In the Courts: Drugs Land Man in Prison

A 29-YEAR-OLD Coventry man has been jailed for five months for theft and drugs offences.

David John Warburton, of Drinkwater House, Hope Street, Spon End, Coventry, was convicted of one charge of theft to the value of pounds 20, three charges of theft as a trespasser, one charge of possession of heroin and one charge of possession of cocaine.

Other cases dealt with by city magistrates on January 25 included:

Neal Richard Inott, aged 23, of Bridgeman Road, Radford, Coventry, failing to produce a licence and using a vehicle without insurance, fined pounds 300 and banned from driving for one year under the totting up provisions.

Arthur Terrance McDonagh, aged 22, of The Moorfield, Stoke Aldermoor, Coventry, driving with an incorrect licence, using a vehicle without insurance and using a vehicle without a test certificate, fined pounds 120 and banned from driving until September 15 this year.

Darren Wayne Hilton, aged 19, of Robin Hood Road, Willenhall, Coventry, theft to the value of pounds 4 and provoking the use of unlawful violence, probation order for one year and ordered to pay compensation of pounds 4.

Stefan Alan Willis, aged 21, of Avon Street, Stoke, Coventry, using a vehicle without insurance and using a vehicle without a test certificate, fined pounds 125.

Koon Lam Chung, aged 56, of Alderminster Road, Mount Nod, Coventry, driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident, fined pounds 600.

Matthew Gane, aged 43, of Pridmore Road, Foleshill, Coventry, using a vehicle without insurance and using a vehicle without a test certificate, fined pounds 225. …
