PPFA Honors Members Who Strengthen Association, Industry

RICHMOND, Va.--As part of Perspective 2000, the Professional Picture Framers Association's (PPFA) annual convention, held Sept. 15-18 in Atlanta, awards were given to three association members whose actions, deeds and vision have greatly strengthened the art and framing industry.

Brian Wolf, CPFCM Designation Holder, GCF, was awarded PPFA's Award of Distinction for Leadership for helping to educate thousands of new framers in basic and advanced programs for PPFA and other industry manufacturers. Wolf also was one of the first framing experts to start demonstrations on the trade show floor, a practice that has become a common occurrence today.

PPFA's Award of Recognition for Innovation was presented to Craig Ponzio, c.e.o, of Larson-Juhl, for developing a long-term consumer advertising program targeted towards a number of well-known lifestyle magazines. His efforts have helped strengthen the art and framing industry by educating consumers on the value of custom framing.
