E-Trade Marketing Seminars Take to the Roads

E-TECHNOLOGY is going on the road around Northern Ireland with the launch of a new initiative.

The IRTU E-Solutions Centre, in conjunction with UK Online and the National Engineering Laboratory, is hosting a series of business seminars about electronic marketing at venues in Enniskillen, Cookstown, Newry and Londonderry.

The intention is to help all businesses, large and small, find out how e-commerce can increase their success and decrease their costs.

Diarmuid McLean, director of scientific services at IRTU, said the benefits of using e-technology were unlimited.

He said: "Everyone knows that the Internet is the key to wider marketing opportunities and up-to-date business information.

"The information age impacts on all our lives and, in particular, on how we conduct our businesses.

"Organisations and companies that ignore the challenges and opportunities offered by rapid technology developments will quickly get left behind."

Mr McLean added: "It is for that reason that I welcome this e-technology roadshow. …
