Established in April 2001 and funded by the National Assembly, Careers Wales offers employers:

a free vacancy service help with staff development the opportunity to influence the education of young people while raising the profile of their company within the local community.

The only national all age careers guidance service in the UK, Careers Wales is delivered by seven companies across Wales from more than 70 centres.

Careers Wales companies also work in schools, colleges and are responsible for the Learndirect helpline.

The main recruitment and advice agency for employers wishing to recruit school and college leavers, Careers Wales offers a free recruitment package which includes distributing vacancy details and applications forms and arranging interviews.

Careers Wales is also able to advise employers on changes in education and training and can provide employers with information on the training and development of young workers. …
