The Oregon Student Assistance Commission in Eugene has promoted Steve Long from systems analyst to information technology director. He has been with OSAC since 2000 and has more than 22 years of experience in the computer industry. Also, Shelley Snow has joined OSAC as outreach manager. She has more than 13 years of experience in marketing and public relations, and was account manager at CAWOOD.

Bryan Beban has joined the Convention and Visitors Association of Lane County Oregon in Eugene as convention sales manager. With seven years of management, marketing and media experience, he will work with meeting planners and area lodging personnel to attract conventions, meetings and other events to Lane County. Beban most recently worked as assistant general manager for the Eugene Emeralds Baseball Club.

Michael Dewey has joined GeoScience Inc. in Eugene as project manager. He will conduct geotechnical investigations such as foundation/soil studies and slope stability assessments. Dewey previously worked for PSI of Eugene/Springfield.
