Koppers Inc. promoted Ryan S. Daugherty to director of internal audit. He will be responsible for the development and implementation of the internal audit program and supervision of internal audit staff. Daugherty received a Bachelor of Science degree in business/ accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.


Hill, Barth & King LLC announced Benjamin (Ben) Myers and Lauren Barnes joined the firm as staff accountants. Myers earned his bachelor's degree from Robert Morris University and Barnes earned her bachelor's degree from Gordon College, Mass.

* MatchPoint Marketing hired Russell Ferrara and Nina Snizaski as account coordinators. Both are graduates of Duquesne University. MatchPoint also promoted Erika Kovac to account executive.

* FSC marketing Communications promoted Nora Connor to account executive. She will be responsible for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership account and assist team leaders on the Transitions Optical, Seven Springs, PPG Teslin and Ardex accounts. Connor earned her bachelor's degree in communication, with a focus in public professional writing, from the University of Pittsburgh.

Health care

Canonsburg General Hospital named Rebecca B. Biddle of Upper St. Clair director of development. She received both a master of Science degree in professional leadership, training and development and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Carlow University.


David Moses, cofounder and former chief operating officer of Gaussian Inc., joined the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center as executive director. He will manage the internal operations of PSC, overseeing a scientific and technological staff of about 75. Moses received his Ph.D. in nuclear chemistry from Carnegie Mellon.


The Heinz Endowments appointed Bomani Howze as program officer. …
