CHICAGO -- The Steelers will no doubt leave the Windy City thinking they let one get away.

Jeff Reed missed a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter and Chicago capitalized, scoring 10 unanswered points in the final 15 minutes to beat the Steelers, 17-14, at soggy Soldier Field.

A chance of a miracle rally ended when Stefan Logan lost a fumble on the kickoff return .

The Steelers fell to 1-1, while the Bears improved to 1-1 in front of a crowd of 60,323.

Ben Roethlisberger completed 23 of 35 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown.

A handful of his passes were dropped, including one in the end zone by Santonio Holmes, which came the play before Reed missed his second field goal.

The Steelers will try to get back on the winning track next Sunday when they play the Bengals in Cincinnati.

The Steelers made it look easy in the first quarter.
