John Alexander is associate director of music andprincipal organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, N.C. He received both bachelor of arts and master of music degrees in organ from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and has studied organ with Robert Burns King and André Lash. He was a finalist in the Arthur Poister Scholarship competition and the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival competition. His recent performances include those with the Eastern Music Festival orchestra, the Music for a Great Space series, the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, and the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, Ga.

Daniel Aune is pursuing a doctoral degree at the Eastman School of Music, where he studies with David Higgs. Previous degrees at Eastman include an MM in organ with David Higgs, an MM in harpsichord with William Porter, and the sacred music diploma. Mr. Aune's competition credits include first prize in both the Rodland Memorial Scholarship Competition and the San Marino Competition, second place in the Poister Competition, and finalist standing in the Fort Wayne National Competition. Mr. Aune is director of music and organist at both St. Mary's Church and St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Rochester, N.Y.

Elisa Williams Bickers is completing a DMA degree in church music at the University of Kansas, studying with Michael Bauer. She has also studied with Joseph Butler at Texas Christian University (BM and MM) and Dale Krider. Elisa won the first prize and hymnplaying award in the graduate division of the 2006 William C. Hall Competition, and she was a semifinalist in the 2007-2008 NYACOP. Elisa was recently awarded the Carlin Award for Graduate Teaching at KU. She is the organist at the First United Methodist Church in Lawrence, Kans., and is the organ instructor at Washburn University.

Nathan Davy received his BA degree in music and classical languages from Asbury College, and an MM degree in organ performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music. He currently is enrolled in the doctoral program at Eastman, studying with David Higgs. In 2008, Mr. Davy won first prize at the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival (USA). He is the music assistant at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Penfield, N. Y. His other interests include literature, theology, and hiking. He, his wife Laura, and their son John reside in Rochester, N.Y.

Susan De Kam completed her undergraduate studies with Huw Lewis. She earned a master of music degree from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Robert Glasgow, and is now a doctoral candidate studying with James Kibbie. She has been a finalist in the MTNA Collegiate Organ Competition, the Miami International Organ Competition, and the Bank District British/ American Organ Competition. Most recently, she was a semifinalist in the Bach/Liszt International Organ Competition held in Weimar, Germany. Currently, she is artist-in-residence at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Dallas, Tex.
