Excerpt
We are reporting here a portion of the findings from the Kansas City Study of Adult Life, a research project, supported by the National Institute of Mental Health, which is investigating some aspects of the aging process. This report is organized around a social-psychological theory of aging. It does not begin to exhaust the data collected in the study, and other publications will follow.
Research can be reported so that the natural history of the operations coincides with the logical pattern of the inquiry.
