The balance of power among humans and between the sexes has long been a controversial topic. In Manifesting Power the contributors look at issues of power in prehistoric times.Looking at archaeological sites and ethnographic evidence over a wide geographical area Manifesting Power explores power relationships in the prehistoric age. The available power to women in Aztec and Maya societies found in Southeastern US, Denmark and Alaska is also considered.
