The next in the series of Contemporary Ergonomics, being the proceedings of the UK's Ergonomics Society annual conference proceedings in 1999. The book continues the company's long association with the Ergonomics Society in publishing their annual proceedings.

Contemporary Ergonomics 1999 are the proceedings of the Annual Conference of the Ergonomics Society, held in April 1999 at University of Leicester. the conference is a major international event for Ergonomists and Human Factors Specialists and attracts contributions from around the world. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Ergonomics Society.

Papers are chosen by a selection panel from abstracts submitted in the autumn of the previous year and the selected papers have the opportunity to be published in Contemporary Ergonomics. Papers are submitted as camera ready copy prior to the conference. Details of the submission procedure may be obtained from the Ergonomics Society.
