Synopsis

What is this thing called 'ergonomics'? For ten years the books that make up the Contemporary Ergonomics series have answered this question. The series embraces all that is the world of ergonomics, and the individual papers provide insights into current practice and present new research findings.

In addition to mainstream ergonomists and human factors specialists, Contemporary Ergonomics will appeal to all those who have an interest in people's interaction with their working and leisure environment including designers, manufacturing and production engineers, health and safety specialists, organizational, applied, and engineering psychologists, and applied physiologists.
