Abraham Between Torah and Gospel is the 2011 Pere Marquette Lecture in Theology delivered by Jon D. Levenson on March 27, 2011. Professor Levensons lecture is the forty-second in this esteemed series. Begun in 1969 under the auspices of the Marquette University Department of Theology, the series commemorates the missions and explorations of Pere Jacques Marquette, SJ (1637-75). Past Pere Marquette Lecturers include Bernard Lonergan, S.J., Avery Dulles, S.J., Walter Kasper, and Stanley L. Jaki.
