The Extremists

Excerpt

The Communist Party in the United States is a direct extension of the Soviet Government. It differs from all other extremist groups in that its source and inspiration, financial and ideological, are part of Russia's drive to communize the world. It is under constant vigilance by the policing agencies of the United States , as it should be, but it is also the straw man set up by Rightist groups to justify their own existence.

The Kremlin has made use of internal subversion, economic warfare, psychological warfare, diplomatic pressures and military action to pursue its objective. Since the end of World War II, the Communists have won, through direct or indirect military action, control of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, East Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Rumania, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Albania, China, North Korea, North Vietnam and Laos. Cuba was conquered by an internal revolution. Subversion is being used in the Latin-American countries. Diplomatic pressures and psychological indoctrination are being used in Europe and the Near East.
