My friend Ralph Ginzburg has a mind alert to all the various idiosyncrasies of censorship and knows the different imbecile turns it has periodically taken. There are some shrewd pictures of the censorship mind psychologically illustrated by some strange delvings into the muddy waters of the Ganges. His book, I think, will go a long way to analyze and purify censorship of its muddy stink. It should add a valuable dose of history to the disgraceful general picture of the Bluenose as it has poked into and disturbed the American scene.
