ACT ONE

SCENE I

SCENE: The dining-room of a collage somewhere in the suburbs of a manufacturing town in eastern Ohio. The room is clean, neat, bare and sunny. It is seen in the morning of a spring day, not long ago. There is an inner door at the right; another at the rear leads to the kitchen. It the left there are an outside door and an eastern window. The table is set for breakfast.
