Should the prospective reader pick up this book with such sceptical questions in mind let me assure him at once that this book is meant for him, as well as for those who have some special interest in the American West. The significant events which are shaping up today in the Mountain West will have definite and important effects on the future prosperity and economic stability of the American economy as a whole.
