Man of Glory: Simon Bolivar

Called "the George Washington of South America, " Bolivar was the revolutionary leader against the oppressive Spanish rule. His vision of a united South America was not to be, because of his dictatorial methods that were widely resented and led to separatist movements. Today, his memory is revered as Latin America's greatest hero and liberator.
