The External Relations of the European Communities: A Manual of Law and Practice

Since their creation, the European Communities have become parties to hundreds of international agreements. They participate daily in the work of scores of international organisations, as full members or as observers. Over a hundred and fifty States have accredited diplomatic missions to the Communities in Brussels. The Communities' external relations are of increasing international importance. This book describes the rules and practices which govern the conduct of these relations and summarises the current state of the Communities' activities in the external field. It should be of interest to anyone whose work or study takes them into contact with Community law and internationalrelations.
