Findings on Evaluation

The findings on evaluation clearly indicate that persons responsible for the development and implementing of programs are typically not able to perceive errors that are being made. This is true largely because it would tend to demean their ability to function in their present roles. The school administrator is personally responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the school programs The Board of Education is responsible for hiring and firing of such administrators, and approving any programs that are planned for such use. Therefore, neither the Administrator or Board Members would be expected to perceive errors they have made in such development and implementation of the school programs..

Parent Group

The parent evaluation group included 16 parents of present high school seniors, all of whom had completed successfully a high school or better education. They ranged in age form 30 to 50 years with a mean age of 41.94 years, and with a standard deviation of 5.09 years. Ten of them were females and six were males.

Findings

The findings of the adult team are depicted in Figure 1 below. The raw scores under the profile depict ratings given to the five major parts of the Cassel rating scale, and where a rating of 15 is considered to be average. Leadership of the school administrator received the highest rating of 2.1, which is probably the most important aspect of the ratings being given. All other ratings were considerable above average; so this is considered to be an excellent school for the youth of our country. The profile on top of the raw scores, were all in the high average range, with leadership being the only one above average. …
