2003 Branch Excellence Award Recipients

The ACEI Branch Excellence Award is presented to Branches that meet the following criteria:

1) Annual Branch report submitted to ACEI by June 15

2) Officers' Roster submitted by June 15

3) Branch Financial Report and June 30th Bank Statements submitted to ACEI by July 15

4) Article submitted to "Branches in Action" in the ACEI Exchange

5) Increased Branch membership during previous year

6) Branch hosts, sponsors, or participates in at least one event that directly benefits children and/or teachers.

ACEI Headquarters staff tracks the progress of each Branch. All Branches that meet these criteria will receive a certificate and a $100 prize. Selection is based on the date Annual Reports are received by Headquarters. Congratulations to the 2003 recipients: Texas A&M Bluebonnet Branch, Milligan College Guiding Young Children Branch (TN), and Northeastern State University at Broken Arrow Branch (OK).

NSU Broken Arrow sold candles to raise money to attend the ACEI Annual International Conference in Phoenix last spring. They placed a note on each candle to relate the candle purchase to ACEI's mission. …
