Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library 2004-2005 Research Fellowship Program. Residential fellowships available for scholars pursuing topics in American history and art, decorative arts, material culture, and design. NEH senior scholar grants, Lois F. The John Carter Brown Library will award approximately twenty-five Research Fellowships for the year June 1, 2004-June 30, 2005. Sponsorship of research at the John Carter Brown Library is reserved exclusively for scholars whose work is centered on the colonial history of the Americas, North and South, including all aspects of the European, African, and Native American involvement. Fellowships are of two types: Regular John Carter Brown Library Fellowships are available for periods of two to four months and carry a stipend of $1,400 per month. …
