On May 23, 2003, the BH&HS took several key actions that will have a major impact on the organization's programs and future:

1. Adopted a revised budget of $240,163 for 2003

2. Adopted a budget of $228,057 for 2004

3. Approved job descriptions for the executive director-treasurer and the associate director

4. Approved "Baptist Footprints in the Northwest" as the theme for the May 27-29, 2004, annual meeting in Vancouver, Washington

5. Approved the invitation of Campbellsville University to host the June 7-9, 2007, annual meeting

6. Approved the invitation of The Center for Baptist Studies of Mercer University to host the May 2008 annual meeting

7. Approved an agreement for The Center for Baptist Studies of Mercer University to serve as cosponsor of Baptist History and Heritage beginning with the Summer/Fall 2003 issue. The agreement includes a restructuring of the membership and functioning of the Editorial Board of the journal. …
