Editor's note: Over the years, we have been featuring individual NEHA staff members in NEHA News so that you can get to know us a little better. This month, we highlight the staff member behind extension 339.

It is an absolute pleasure to join the NEHA team as its new credentialing coordinator. I feel very fortunate to be working with such a dedicated staff. My first impression of the NEHA office was how positive staff were about the association and the energy they put into their various positions. I have recently relocated to Denver, Colorado, from New York, New York--yes, quite a change! And as a newcomer, I have been made to feel very welcome by the NEHA staff.

My responsibility as credentialing coordinator will be to support NEHA candidates as they go through the credentialing process and to work with state and other environmental health associations to produce and maintain a sound credentialing program. I will draw on my previous experience as a program director for Professional Examination Service (PES), where I managed several national licensing and certification programs for various organizations (including the PES R.E.H.S/R.S. credential program).
