ONE OF BANKERS' BIGGEST HEADACHES is managing the learning process for employees. I've heard from a lot of bankers about how frustrating this process can be, and I've experienced it first hand.

The questions a CEO must ask are mind-numbing. Who will do the training? Who will get the training? Do we have enough money in the budget for it? Are the trainers up to speed on the latest regulations? Do we know if the training is working?

ABA has been expanding the association's training and education resources to help meet the need. These interactive courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Bank employees can obtain the skills they need and credit toward AIB certificates and diplomas. The training comes in all shapes, from basic banking to personal trust, regulatory compliance to small business banking.
