Typefaces: The Texas Instruments microLaser XL Turbo has two internal typefaces when

using its Hewlett-Packard LaserJet II emulation: Courier and Line Printer. Courier is

available in bold and italic, and each typeface is available in portrait and landscape

orientation. There are seven resident typefaces available when using Adobe Postscript:

Avante Garde, Bookman, Courier, Helvetica, New Century, Palatino and Times. These are

available in several different styles, including Book, bold, oblique, Roman and italic. Two

symbol sets are also available: Postscript and Zaph Dingbats.

Pitch/Point sizes: The Postscript typefaces are scalable to virtually any point size. Courier

is available in 10 and 12 pitch; Line Printer is available in 16.66 pitch. Control panel: The front panel consists of 12 touch-sensitive push buttons, eight of which are used

for selecting on-line/off-line, continue/reset, form feed, portrait/landscape, fonts list, tray

selection, help and printer setup, and four of which are arrow keys used for scrolling

through menu options. There is a 16-character LCD that displays printer operation
