The 2006 Southeast CCL Regional Conference, Christian Witness in a World of Clashing Cultures," will be at Anderson College in Anderson, South Carolina, from April 6-8. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Wesley Kort, chair of the Department of Religion at Duke University and a C.S. Lewis scholar. The resurgence of "multicultural theory" over recent decades in higher education in the United States has drawn attention to the often-violent intersection of cultures. The conference will address the literary intersection between Christianity and other cultures and traditions. For more information, please contact Dr. Margaret Wooten at mwooten@ac.edu.

The 2006 Southwest CCL Regional Conference will be Sept. 28-30 at Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas. The theme is Inscription: A Conference on the Christian Teaching of Writing, Rhetoric, and Literature. Scheduled speakers include Jill Baumgaertner, David Jeffrey, and David Naugle. Program chair is William Rankin, rankinb@acu.edu.

The Mideast CCL Regional Conference will be Oct. 12-13, 2006, at Cedarville University in Ohio. The theme will be Incarnation in the Classroom: Mentoring the Next Generation of Scholars, Teachers, and Writers. …
