Void area: There is a void area of 1/8" along the leading edge of the copies.

Features: Quantity selector: Makes 1-99 copies. Quantity display: Two-digit LED display counts up as copies are produced and holds the quantity selected (can be set by service to count down). Quantity reset: Approximately one minute and seven seconds after the last copy is made, the display resets to "1" and all selected features reset to default settings (can also be programmed by service for three minutes or for no reset). Document feeder: Optional Automatic Reversing Document Feeder (ARDF). Stack-feed bypass: Built-in stack-feed bypass holds up to 50 sheets. Duplexing: Optional duplex unit will automatically duplex up to 50 sheets of 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Reduction/enlargement: Variable reduction/enlargement from 50% to 200% in 1% increments. Preset reduction modes of 65%, 74% and 93%, and preset enlargement modes of 129% and 155% (the ratio selected is shown on a three-digit "Magnification Ratio" display). Automatic selection features: Automatic exposure. Auto start (allows user to program a copy job to automatically begin copying after the warm-up cycle is complete). Automatic paper selection and reduction/enlargement selection. Auto tray switching. The control panel is divided into three sub-panels. The right sub-panel has the quantity selection numeric keypad and "Clear Modes/energy Saver" key, "Recall/Enter," "Clear/Stop" and "Start" keys. "Interrupt" key with multicopy capability and job memory (the user program, duplex copying and sorting/stacking modes cannot be accessed in interrupt mode; selection is indicated by a lit LED). "Program" key is used in conjunction with the "Recall/Enter" key and numeric keypad to store or recall up to five jobs from memory. It is also used in conjunction with the numeric keypad to access the erase mode from which a user can erase a 20-mm area from the center of a copy (adjustable by service for 10, 15, 20 or 25 mm), erase edge (erases from 5 mm to 20 mm around the edge of the copy depending on the paper size and reproduction ratio selection; adjustable by service) or erase center and edge of the copies. A "Wait" indicator lights during warm-up and a "Ready" indicator lights when the copier is ready to begin copying (the copier takes about 56 seconds to reach operating temperature). The middle sub-panel has the print quantity display. Misfeed location indicators/display: A graphic display features an outline of the machine with LED indicators that light when a misfeed occurs (up to seven locations). LED indicators/prompts: LED indicators light to alert the operator to "Wait," "Ready," "Energy-Saver," "Second Original," "By-Pass Feed," "Check Paper Size," "Misfeed," "Check Paper Size/Direction," "Auto Paper Select" and "Add Toner." A "Color Copy" indicator lights when an optional color developing unit is installed. A "Duplex Unit" indicator lights when the optional duplex unit is installed. Exposure controls: "Auto Image Density" key (selection is indicated by a lit LED). In manual mode, the exposure is controlled by two keys ("Darker" and "Lighter") over a range of seven settings. The "Select Paper Tray" key is used to select paper feeding from the drawers/cassette or to activate/deactivate automatic paper select (the size and orientation are shown on the display). …
