Tips on How to Turn Life's Setbacks into Triumphs

When life presents us with lemons, our job is to make "great"

lemonade! To do so, however, we need to have the right recipe(s). What

follows, therefore, are ten points to ponder (i.e., recipes) that should

help

us lead more "fruitful" lives, and to help others do likewise.

Sometimes decisions are difficult to make, and/or actions hard to take. A few well-chosen words, however, can help us to get "over the hump" and facilitate our attempts to take more effective control of our lives. What follows, then, are some points to ponder that were derived from Sean Covey's book entitled Fourth Down and Life to Go: How to Turn Life's Setbacks Into Triumphs.

Each of these statements should serve us well as we seek to provide needed direction in our lives (or the lives of others), and/or try to understand our various problems and their respective solutions.

1. It's not important to be big and strong or be a great athlete. What is important is that you do your best. 2. If you could envision the type of person which God intended you to be, you would rise up and never be the same again. 3. Winning is nothing more than this -- that you rise each time you fall. 4.
