Seeking Nominations for Seven Board of Trustee Positions

There will be seven ATEA National Board of Trustee positions open this spring-Two elected members and five appointed members. The elected members are voted for by the membership at large. The appointed members are appointed by the Board of Trustees, usually based on a particular expertise needed on the Board such as financial experience. The term of election is July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2012.

According to the Bylaws of ATEA: There shall be a Board of Trustees consisting of twenty-five (25) members; twelve (12) elected by the membership of the Association, twelve (12) appointed by the Board of Trustees, and the Chair of the Regional Presidents. Any member who is an individual member in good standing of the Association is eligible for nomination and election or for appointment to the Board of Trustees. Trustees may be re-elected or re-appointed to successive terms.
