March 14-27, 2006, L.A. Sukamto, A. Sugiri, Sujadi and T. Uji searched for the medicinal plant Brucea and its relatives in Tumpang Sari village, Kahayan Hulu Utara, Gunung Mas District, Central Kalimantan. Adina minutiflora, Eurycoma longifolia, and Tarenna confusa were collected. March 27-April 16, 2006, M. Harapini searched in West Kalimantan for medicinal plants of the Simaroubaceae and other species used in malaria treatment. April 24-May 7, 2006, Dr. A.P. Keim, Rugayah, R. Asmarayani, H. Rustiami, Y. Santika, M. Amir, and Nurdin went to the Bukit Baka-Bukit Raya National Park, Bukit Kelam anal HW. Baning, West Kalimantan. They made 300 collections, including one species of rattan (Piptospatha) suspected to be a new species, and 17 numbers of Pandanaceae. May 15-28, 2006, Dr. E.A. Widjaja, I. Erlinawati, V.B. Lestari, W. Wardaai, and O. Effendy went to the Sebangau National Park, Central Kalimantan. They made 28 collections of ferns and 109 of flowering plants, 13 of which were Pandanaceae. August 2-September 1, 2006, R. Lestari, S. Wahyuni, D.O. Pribadi, and Sumarno went to the Kutai National Park, East Kalimantan to study Aquilaria species. …
