Over the years, several new categories have become an important part of the ATEA Journal. The most recent, "Tips & Training Techniques" will feature innovative teaching strategies, creative lesson plans and demo units used by ATEA members. This is a great opportunity for you to be published and share with you colleagues proven methods that enhance student learning.

With the recent addition of the "At-Issue" category, our members can submit an article or essay addressing a specific concern or issue affecting technical education. Supporting documentation should be included with the submission for this category.

"Kristal Kleer" is an opinion column written by ATEA members on anything associated to technical education. There is no need to submit supporting documentation for this category of articles as it is truly the writer's opinion. "Kristal Kleer" submissions are limited to 750 words.

The ATEA Editorial Committee is now encouraging faculty to share resources and materials that they currently use in their programs and classrooms. This could be a brief write-up or a complete article. This new column will be appropriately titled "Instructor Resources."
