Article excerpt

Here I am again..... encouraging our readership to share their "Tips and Training Techniques" featuring your creative program, innovative teaching strategies, creative lesson plans, and other items that we may wish to share.

We recently added the "At-Issue" category where our members can submit an article or essay addressing a specific concern or issue affecting technical education. Supporting citations should be included with the submission for this category.

"Kristal Kleer" is an opinion column written by ATEA members on anything associated to technical education. There is no need to submit supporting documentation for this category of articles as it is truly the writer's opinion. "Kristal Kleer" submissions are limited to 750 words and often appear on the back page of the ATEA Journal.

The ATEA Editorial Committee is now encouraging faculty to share resources and materials that they currently use in their programs and classrooms. This could be a brief write-up or a complete article. This new column will be appropriately titled "Instructor Resources." If you have something to contribute to "Instructor Resources," please submit them to me at: solson@uakron.edu.

To get started, let me suggest that you submit tips and ideas where you have tried something to enhance your class and you are very pleased with the results. …
