Article excerpt

The AICPA has rebuilt its website, The site, which launched May 10, allows for improved search, navigation and user interactivity. The following are some things members can now do:

* Maneuver around the various AICPA Web properties after signing in only once. In the past, members might have needed to log in with a different user name and password for, the website, various member sections, and Volunteer Central. Now only one username/password is needed. Registering with the site provides access to member-only information and tools. This can be done by clicking on "Sign In" in the upper-right corner of any Web page and entering an existing usemame/password (for example, one established for, an audit quality center or a membership section).

* Users who do not already have an online account can register to create a new account. First click on "Sign In" and then choose "Register" at the top of any Web page. AICPA members can use the "Check to See if You Already Have an Account" feature to create a new account by supplying their last name and either their member number or e-mail address. Member numbers can be found on the JofA mailing label.

* Watch videos related to the accounting profession on AICPA TV. These include interviews with leaders in the profession on timely news topics, and cover a wide range of other topics. Videos appear throughout all sections of the site and are searchable by topic. There also are tutorials to help visitors with several of the site's new features.

* Receive the latest news from CPA Letter Daily, the JofA and other AICPA resources. There is also a direct link to journalofaccountancy. …
