If we look solely at the number of members. the French Group is not certainly very important but if we refer to its site, and to its numerous works, it is always so productive and dynamic. We organized a meeting in April 2009 at the Library Hector Berlioz of the Paris Conservatoire of music and dance. Francoise Leresche, who is working in the Department of Bibliographic and Digital Information in the Bibliotheque national, presented the new cataloging code, "Resource, description and access = RDA", intended to replace the Anglo American Cataloging Rules (AACR). RDA aligns its structure directly on Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) and Functional Requirements for Authority Data (FRAD). She dwelt on the processing of ideas of "Work" and "Expression" for musical works.
