During 2009, the board included the following members: Siren Steen, chair; Randi Hansen, treasurer; Anna Saemundsdottir, secretary; and Tone Notvik Jakobsen, Ann Kunish, Frida Rasand, Ranveig Tunheim, Aslak Oppeboen

The board held three meetings. Two members' meetings have also been held, the first of which was 16 September. Thirty-four members participated, and the programme included a guided tour, dinner, and performance in the new Norwegian Opera and Ballet. AnneMargrethe Skari from the Opera's library was hostess. The second meeting on 27 January was held in the Discovery Centre of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Forty five members participated. A new website registing Norwegian scores published 1811-1908 was presented. Terje Nymark and Ann Kunish provided live music.

The Association has seventy-nine members, twenty-four of which are personal memberships.

The revision of the document <> has been the chair's primary task during 2009. The work is extensive and timeconsuming. The Association has registered interest and approval from outside our organisation due to having initiated and financed the work. The working group is comprised of representatives from the National Library, the Norwegian Library Bureau (Biblioteksentralen AS), libraries in institutions of higher learning, and public libraries. This broad representation and the way the work has been structured are among the elements in the project that have attracted special notice. …
