The North Caroliniana Society has announced the granting of an Archie K. Davis Fellowship to each of the following scholars for 2011-2012: Laura Kathryn Baines-Walsh, Boston College; Kristal L. Enter, University of Cambridge; Karen M. Hawkins, University of North Carolina at Greensboro; R. Scott Huffard Jr., University of Florida; Warren E. Milteer Jr., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Judy Scales-Trent, University at Buffalo, State University of New York; Matthew P. Spooner, Columbia University; Daniel J. Tortora, Duke University; Antonio L. Vasquez, Michigan State University; Caitlin Verboon, Yale University; and Vivienne Westbrook, National Taiwan University.

Archie K. Davis Fellowships assist scholars in their travel to sources of North Carolina history. The annual deadline for proposals is March 1. For information, visit www.ncsociety.org.
