NOLO is an organization founded in the early 1970s with the mission to provide legal information to individuals and businesses. Per the NOLO web site, NOLO offers over 300 do-it-yourself legal products written in plain English. This book is part of an expansion of its product line into other topics relevant to the small business owner.

This book offers the small business owner/entrepreneur a guide for the implementation of a company wellness program. The book is authored by Ilona Bray with the input from an advisory board of fourteen experts in specific areas. Each of the advisors contributed to a chapter that focuses on their area of expertise,

Chapters 1 through 3 cover the why, what, and how. Chapter 1, "Why You Need a Healthy Workplace," provides the justification for implementing a Wellness Program. Most of the justification is of an anecdotal/common sense nature, with some of the numbers supported by research. Calculating an ROI is left to two web site references. One of the calculators is provided by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. The other by a private organization, Wellsteps. Chapter 2, "Strategies for a Successful Wellness Program, "proposes the essential building blocks for the program.
