The students are back!! Well, at least here in Virginia. It is always an exciting time of year when classes begin. I miss my students and am glad when they stop by my office to say hello and tell me about their summer. I love seeing the "before" and "after" of the students who have had internships.

The mission of the Journal of Information Systems Education (JISE) is to be the premier journal on information systems (IS) education. To support that mission, JISE emphasizes quality and relevance in the papers that it publishes. In addition, JISE recognizes the international influences on IS education and seeks international input in all aspects of the journal, including content, authorship of papers, readership, paper reviewers, and Editorial Board membership. We have had many positive comments about the paper "Writing IS Teaching Tips: Guidelines for JISE Submission." Our authors appreciate having more guidance in writing teaching tips while also the increasing the rigor of these important contributions IS education.
