Amoye: Journal of African Philosophy & Studies and is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on publishing original and well researched articles or book reviews on thematic issues in all areas of African philosophical scholarship. It also aims to publish enlightened scholarly work and research papers in the area of African studies and other topical issues that are related to Africa.

Amoye (which means "the enlightened" in Yoruba) accept articles not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions are encouraged from authors who have clear notions about how theoretical and methodological considerations can be explored to grapple with contemporary challenges in Africa. Papers submitted to Amoye for publication should be high quality essays or review articles written in English language and must avoid reinventing the will; attention should also be given to editorial details as papers that do not conform to the submission guidelines (available on the Amoye website) shall not be sent to peer reviewers for editorial considerations.
