The year 2008 marked the twenty-fifth year anniversary of Alexander Schmemann's death. Since then, the academy and church have seen a reinvigorated interest in the contributions of this famous Orthodox liturgical theologian. William Mills presents the latest assessment of Schmemann in his revised doctoral dissertation.
