Five articles are included in this issue, addressing consumer green tendencies, post-merger human resource practices and their influence on employee perceptions, the impact of Russia's institutional environment on innovation, first-year business students' attitudes toward business, and dealing with future business leaders' academic dishonesty.

Byus and Deis, in the first article, believe that the consumers have different shades of green. They base their findings on an email study of a randomly selected sample of 1,000 consumers. Consumers are influenced by their financial condition, health, and overall economic conditions, and are skeptical of businesses' green claims. One of their assertions is that "... consumer behavior may be shaped as a result of corporate performance...."

In the second article, Buiter and Harris maintain that pre-merger human resource practices can have positive or negative influences on employee perceptions in post-merger environments in the companies involved.

Ermasova and Ermasov, in the third article, provide an interesting look at innovation activity in Russia and show how it is affected by the institutional environment. …
