ABA is working to make our bankers more effective communicators, because we have a vitally important story to tell about our industry and what it is doing for our communities as well as our country.

We need to persuade policymakers to embrace changes that will help banks create jobs in our communities and grow the nation's economy. If banks are held back, a sustainable economic recovery is held back.

Bankers have strong convictions about what is happening to our industry. We know when government regulations are tying our hands. And we're eager to speak out. Sometimes, though, we need an assist. That's where your state association and ABA come in.

ABA is dedicated to providing bankers with the resources they need to make an effective case for banking. Whether the audience is a member of Congress, a community group, or a reporter, ABA offers materials to help bankers illustrate the consequences of ill-advised legislation, excessive regulation, and unfair competition.
