Introduction

In the course of live, a human being cannot live alone and without coming into contact with the others. It is necessary for the people to cooperate with the others and be a part of the same group in many issues such as defense, working, sexual satisfaction, bringing up, transfer of information. Studying the progressive development of the human behaviors or examining the one's development requires the evaluation of the essence of the human which is formed through interpersonal relationships. No matter which point of view is used to examine, it is seen that interpersonal relationships have an important place for human (Bercheid, 1994; Fromm, 2002). Daily life consists of interpersonal relationships and the base of the interpersonal relationships is communication.

As it is possible to define the communication concept as "the process of production, transmission and interpretation of information,", it is also possible to state it as "mutual transmission, the mutual transmission of the information, news and behaviors" (Bulut 2001; Dokmen, 2009). The important thing in the communication is the necessity of the one's communication in a good way with himself. It is very important for one to communicate well with the others (Herguner, Guner and Yaman; 1997, s.97). The communication that the one establishes with the environment starts with his own. For short periods, the human being in the process of interpersonal communication has the role both as a source of information and recipient. This individual is someone who has to produce information when he is the source of information and who tries to interpret the coming information when he is in the position of a recipient has to communicate internally in each situation (Dokmen, 2009, s.39). The similar communication coming out between two people exists within one, too. By producing several messages in their inside and interpreting them, people form internal communication (Dokmen, 2009, s.39). Individual's internal communication with himself means his thinking, dreaming, affectivity, noticing his needs and examining them by asking questions to himself (Guney, 2000, s.30). System of individual internal communication is a situation of interaction where both the source and destination of the message take place in only one organism (Ruesch and Bateson; 1951; aktaran; Macke, 2008, s. 122). Namely, he, himself, is both a source and recipient in the state of one's communication with his own inner world (Tutar and Yilmaz, 2002, s. 100). Individual's realization of his needs' values, attitude, behavior and abilities; his endeavor to comprehend his own feelings and thoughts are possible with the inner communication developed with himself (Rogers, 1984, s. 7). The process of one's thinking, affectivity, noticing his personal needs, introspection, getting messages from his inside through dreams or producing answers to the questions that he asked himself can be considered as an inner communication (Dokmen, 2009, s. 39).

The quality of the communication that he established with himself and his environment is closely related to his own character. Character can be defined as consistent behavior patterns originated from individual and processes of inner character. Different from internal processes, inner character processes involve all emotional, motivational and cognitive processes affecting how we think and feel and developing in our inner world(Burger, 2006, s.23).

Each individual forms senses about world by considering his own observations, experiences and the relationships conducted with others and objects. Here, his emotional or social memory has an active function (Gordion, 2008, s.56). Thereby; reception, comprehension, comparison, interpretation, thinking, designing have an important role in the formation of one's place in social process. In short, individual comprehends his social and personal essence through the relationship conducted with himself and the others; because there are the questions about one's himself and his environment and the answers to these questions on the basis of the conscious development. …
