Lots of exciting news in this issue. First, this is a special issue of JISE with papers about Online IS Education for the 21st Century. I want to thank the Guest Editors, Wu He and Guandong Xu, for their efforts in putting together an outstanding Special Issue. This special issue contains five papers plus an introduction to the topic. If you currently teach online or are an administrator or are considering teaching online, you will find these papers most helpful.

Second, I am stepping down as JISE Editor-in-Chief and I am pleased to announce that Lee Freeman from University of Michigan-Dearborn has been named the next Editor-in-Chief of JISE. Lee has been involved with JISE for the past 12 years and has been an Associate Editor for the last 6 years. Lee has shown an interest and excitement in becoming the next JISE Editor. Please join me in congratulating Lee on his new position with JISE. I want to thank everyone for their help, support, and assistance during my time as the Editor-in-Chief. I truly have been blessed to have known and worked with such an outstanding group of people.

And finally, I would like to invite you to join your IS education colleagues at the EDSIG Conference in Wilmington, NC, November 1-4. Submissions by June 15, 2015, are eligible for paper awards and for best paper fast tracking to JISE. …
